GENERAL FUNCTION

The Customer Support Specialist manages inquiries from both new and existing business clients concerning a range of requests in a prompt and effective manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Handles incoming calls and processes orders efficiently.


• Addresses customer complaints and troubleshoots issues to identify the best resolution.


• Accurately documents customer interactions and monitors call types.


• Maintains service support levels.


• Follows up with clients to resolve inquiries related to order status, shipping updates, and product availability.


• Engages in inbound calls for up to 90% of the assigned shift.


• Performs additional duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


• High school diploma.


• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a call center environment.


• Excellent telephone manners, with the ability to communicate confidently in a clear, professional voice.


• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.


• Proven listening and comprehension skills.


• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.


• Ability to maintain composure in challenging customer situations.


• Exceptional time management skills – must prioritize tasks effectively.


• Proficient in PC skills, including MS Office; Word and Excel.


• Capable of navigating information systems and the internet.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


• Higher education degree.


• Previous experience with SAP.


• Experience in the optical industry.


• Bilingual in French.
