Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Customer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position requires proficiency in both French and English, along with a strong background in customer service or related fields.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a call center setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Work hours: 11:00 AM to 7:15 PM, with training from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a duration of 2 weeks (totaling 35 hours per week).

Essential Skills:
  • Excellent telephone communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient listening and comprehension skills.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging customer interactions.
  • Effective time management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to navigate various information systems and the internet.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Higher education degree.
  • Experience with SAP software.
  • Familiarity with the optical industry, including knowledge of optical products and terminology.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and process customer orders efficiently.
  • Address customer complaints and troubleshoot issues to find effective resolutions.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and categorize call types.
  • Maintain service levels and uphold high standards of customer support.
  • Follow up with customers regarding inquiries about order status, shipping, and product availability.
  • Manage inbound calls for the majority of your assigned shift.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
