ROLE SUMMARY:

The individual in this position will oversee the management, deployment, and performance of account managers within the designated Area. This role requires providing clear, actionable expectations and guidance to the team to drive performance and secure business for Andersen. The leader will exemplify and mentor the sales approach known as the Andersen Way, fostering the development of account managers' sales skills and professional growth to help them achieve their full potential within the company. A comprehensive growth strategy for the Area will be developed in collaboration with regional leaders, audience leaders, marketing, channel teams, and other stakeholders to promote incremental growth. Delivering an exceptional customer experience and nurturing high-value customer relationships through collaborative selling is essential. This leader must effectively translate and implement national and regional strategies into actionable plans for a diverse team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Guide direct reports to align their performance with organizational objectives through regular one-on-one meetings, in-person territory visits, and team gatherings. Ensure team members are aware of their potential and readiness for advancement. Utilize CRM and technology for effective pipeline management and data-driven decision-making. Emphasize the importance of repeatable processes and promote the adoption of CRM tools.

·Champion and facilitate change initiatives by motivating teams to progress collectively and aligning direct reports with a unified mission to achieve business outcomes. Proactively address potential resistance to change and communicate the necessity of change to gain support.

·Manage and resolve conflicts among customers, channels, and audiences while maintaining a clear vision for the overall benefit of the organization and preserving the customer experience.

·Analyze and utilize data to create a comprehensive Market Area Plan and growth strategy in partnership with channel and audience leaders to drive incremental growth. Implement strategies and programs that ensure a world-class customer experience.

·Encourage collaboration among functional leaders and stakeholders to support the Area and facilitate effective business decisions for growth.

·Ensure alignment and focus within teams when faced with conflicting priorities, ensuring that plans and their execution are integrated with broader business objectives.

·Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

LEADERSHIP:

This role will spearhead change and support the adoption of organizational initiatives while championing the go-to-market strategy and its execution. The position involves managing, developing, and coaching a diverse range of sales and related functions. Management methods include regular one-on-one meetings, team sessions (both in-person and virtual), informal discussions, and various communication channels. The individual in this role is expected to provide clear, actionable performance feedback that is timely and behavior-based. Additionally, this position should engage direct reports in discussions about their career aspirations and offer challenging assignments to prepare them for their desired career paths. The role also requires influencing and managing key channel and trade relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or 5 years of equivalent sales experience.

·Proven ability to coach and manage a geographically dispersed team in the sales process and effectively manage the pipeline using business insights and CRM tools.

·Strong understanding of general business practices, including sales and marketing principles as well as commercial and channel sales methodologies.

·Ability to train in sales techniques, customer and market insights, and product knowledge, while motivating staff to achieve exceptional business performance.

·Demonstrated capability to analyze complex business scenarios, identify challenges, recognize opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and create strategic plans with measurable objectives, timelines, resources, tactics, and accountability.

·Ability to navigate the business landscape to develop strategies that align with long-term goals, considering industry trends and management practices.

·Extensive customer-facing experience in sales, customer experience, and marketing.

·Proficient in CRM, data analysis, pipeline management, and forecasting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·Experience with channel and/or audience management is preferred.

·Understanding of sales cycles for various audiences and their impact on pipeline and planning is advantageous.

·Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively in both large and small group settings.

·Strong appreciation for fostering a healthy team culture and promoting a collaborative mindset that leverages the strengths of team members.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

·This position requires significant nationwide travel.

·The role holder must reside within the designated Area.
