Position Summary:
The Records Analyst role is essential for supporting the maintenance department in adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position is under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine data entry tasks, generate standard reports, and extract data from electronic systems as necessary.
  • Analyze and present data for management as requested.
  • Review aircraft records and documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor specific tasks completed at the base level, such as compliance with service bulletins and modifications.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify components needing historical data before servicing.
  • Track changes in components to ensure proper documentation is received.
  • Retrieve aircraft records as needed by other departments.
  • Maintain and distribute scanned records as required.
  • Receive and organize aircraft logbook pages, component cards, and 8130s into the Quality Control Department, ensuring accuracy.
  • Review engine, airframe, and component records for compliance and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to work amidst changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage workflows effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, management, and clients.
  • Capability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Familiarity with aviation terminology.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize official records efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an aircraft records department or a similar role within the aviation sector.
  • Experience with aircraft compliance tracking software.
  • Knowledge of maintenance programs for Airbus and Textron aircraft.
  • Possession of an FAA Airframe Powerplant License.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
