POSITION SUMMARY
The Records Analyst role is essential for supporting the maintenance department in adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position is under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct routine data entry tasks, generating and preparing standard reports as necessary.
- Extract and manipulate data from electronic systems for management requests.
- Perform thorough analysis of aircraft records to ensure precision and completeness.
- Monitor specific tasks at the base level, including compliance with service bulletins and modifications.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify components needing historical documentation prior to servicing.
- Maintain accurate records of component changes and ensure proper documentation is received.
- Retrieve aircraft records as needed by various departments.
- Organize and maintain scanned records, distributing them upon request.
- Receive and file aircraft logbook pages and component cards, verifying their accuracy.
- Review engine, airframe, and component records for compliance and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities with flexibility and versatility.
- Capable of working independently while managing workflows and problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and management.
- Proficient in following written and verbal instructions.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Familiarity with aircraft terminology.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage official records.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years in an aircraft records department or a similar aviation role.
- Experience with aircraft compliance tracking software.
- Knowledge of Airbus and Textron maintenance programs.
- FAA Airframe Powerplant License.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
