Job Summary:

The Records Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the maintenance department to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, this position is essential for maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine data entry tasks, generate standard reports, and extract necessary data from electronic systems.
  • Analyze and present data to management as required.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of aircraft records and documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor specific tasks completed at the base level, including compliance with service bulletins and modifications.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to identify components needing historical data before servicing.
  • Track changes in components to ensure proper documentation is received.
  • Retrieve aircraft records upon request from various departments.
  • Maintain and distribute scanned records as necessary.
  • Receive and organize aircraft logbook pages, component cards, and other documentation in the Quality Control Department, ensuring accuracy.
  • Review engine, airframe, and component records for compliance and accuracy as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to navigate changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage workflows effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, management, and clients.
  • Proficient in following written and verbal instructions.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Familiarity with aircraft terminology.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to organize and manage official records.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in an aircraft records department or a similar role within the aviation sector.
  • Experience with aircraft compliance tracking software.
  • Knowledge of maintenance programs for Airbus and Textron aircraft.
  • FAA Airframe Powerplant License.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
