Role Overview

The HR Assistant at Sound Oil Plc plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department through various administrative and project management tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Provide project management and technical assistance to ensure the timely execution of HR initiatives.
  • Benefits Coordination: Oversee Flexible Benefits and total Reward Statements, offering guidance to employees on available benefits and collaborating with benefit consultants and providers.
  • Payroll Collaboration: Work closely with the Payroll Department to ensure accurate information is relayed from HR.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Maintain procedures that support the HR Department's needs regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly HR reports for management and staff, and explore innovative methods for presenting these reports.
  • Administrative Support: Provide support to the Compensation & Benefits Manager, including the collation of correspondence.
  • IT Liaison: Collaborate with the IT Department to ensure necessary HR reports are prepared and maintained.
  • Data Management: Ensure that the HR database is consistently updated and accurate.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside the HR Support team to facilitate efficient and accurate administration processes.
  • Purchase Orders: Prepare purchase orders as needed.
  • Monthly Reporting: Assist in the generation of NSC monthly reports.
  • HR Activities Support: Provide administrative assistance for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, and training.
  • Employee Data Maintenance: Manage employee information across various internal systems.
  • Daily Administration: Handle day-to-day HR tasks such as drafting internal and external letters, spot awards, and general housekeeping of HR operations.
  • Headcount Management: Oversee monthly headcount activities.
