HR Green is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Transportation Design Practice in Houston, Texas. As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, building client relationships, and driving business growth in the Texas region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business plan for the Texas geographic area, aligning with the company's strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Leader to establish an annual regional budget and manage top and bottom-line revenue growth.
  • Establish and execute a regional marketing strategy to achieve targets, and oversee the business development process to identify and qualify clients.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to ensure quality service retention and repeat business.
  • Provide strategic direction, support, and development to Transportation employees in the region, and promote good stewardship and long-term results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role at a civil engineering firm, with people management and business development responsibilities.
  • Understanding of the Houston consulting engineering community and how counties and municipalities contract engineering services.
  • Desire to build a business and grow a team of talented engineers.
  • Professional registration (P.E.) in the state of Texas is required.
