Job OverviewPosition Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conducts thorough analysis, assessment, and integration of solutions for intricate technical challenges.
  • Performs in-depth evaluations on projects or major segments of significant initiatives to improve the technical and economic advancement of products and/or services.
  • Addresses a variety of technical issues leading to advanced engineering investigations aimed at enhancing efficiency or minimizing costs.
  • Creates and presents complex technical briefings to executive leadership and clients.
  • Engages with senior leadership and client representatives on critical technical subjects, advanced research studies, and applications.
  • Collaborates with engineering teams during integration and testing phases, and prepares essential sections of technical documentation such as System and Subsystem Specifications, Test Plans, and Test Procedures, while supporting Factory and Site Acceptance testing.
  • Utilizes system engineering principles to ensure requirements traceability, system predictability, manufacturing capability, and performance validation.
  • Willingness to travel 0-25% CONUS/OCONUS as necessary.
Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience must involve multidisciplinary team dynamics, including hardware, electrical, and software design, development, integration, and testing activities.
  • Proficient in the development and review of drawing packages.
  • Ability to work effectively as a collaborative team member supporting software and hardware engineers throughout design, development, and testing phases.
  • Experience with DoD Tactical Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems.
  • Possession of an active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering utilizing Cameo.
  • Knowledge of SOCOM Joint Threat Warning System or similar tactical SIGINT Systems.
  • Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and system design.
  • Experience with system development in accordance with the DoD 5000 The Defense Acquisition System.
