Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Buffalo Marriott LECOM HARBORCENTER. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling guest complaints, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Responsibilities- Provide superior guest services, including check-in and check-out, and process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
- Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements, including generating and printing daily reports.
- Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures.
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
