Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Agent at Hyatt Regency Buffalo, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and handling room reservations. You will be the first point of contact for guests, and your friendly and welcoming demeanor will set the tone for their stay.

Responsibilities:
  • Register guests and handle room reservations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Operate the front desk computer system, managing guest information and room assignments.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel software systems.
