Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet patients, check-in/check-out patients, and book appointments using our computer system.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance eligibility and demographic information, and notify patients of account balances.
  • Payment Processing: Collect payments from patients, post amounts, and balance the cash drawer for end-of-day deposits.
  • Document Management: Print face sheets, receipts, and other documents as needed, and ensure accurate and up-to-date paperwork.
  • Communication: Notify healthcare team members of emergencies, messages, and patient arrivals, and confirm patient appointments in advance.
  • Reporting: Run reschedule reports and book rescheduled appointments as necessary, and ensure reports are accurate and current.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including OSHA, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience working in a medical setting, preferably in a front desk or administrative role.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
