Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Escrow Account Manager to join our team at BGSF. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for achieving strategic and financial objectives by establishing and overseeing efficient closing and settlement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily branch operations are conducted in accordance with operations standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement processes for accurate and timely processing of title, scheduling, closing preparation, closing, and post-closing.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure smooth transitions and support between land, construction, sales, accounting, and mortgage teams.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and monitor/respond to customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Review and respond to monthly quality and accounting audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all funds and closings, ensuring proper handling and security procedures are followed.
  • Prepare and adhere to departmental budgets, focusing on expense reduction and revenue maximization.
  • Market the value of our services to customers, realtors, and other lenders, promoting our unique offerings and expertise.
  • Collaborate with team members to allocate and coordinate workflow, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, to ensure ongoing compliance and risk management.
  • Stay informed about competitors' products, services, and costs to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Promote branch participation in division/community events and align with company values and culture.
  • Ensure all security procedures are followed, the branch is operationally sound, and satisfactory audits are achieved.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring ongoing compliance with procedures.
Management Responsibilities
  • Ensure appropriate staffing to meet department needs and delegate work based on employees' abilities and skills.
  • Utilize recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talent and evaluate employee performance.
  • Provide developmental opportunities through internal and external training and offer continuous coaching on functional, leadership, technical skills, and behaviors.
  • Maintain staff schedules for adequate coverage at all times and facilitate regular employee meetings to discuss goals, company information, and operational issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Notary Public required.
  • Escrow Officer license required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of escrow operations experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Specialized in RESPA with an understanding of underwriting guidelines.
  • Knowledge of title and settlement rules and regulations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-location team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and meet department needs with available resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, OneNote; experience with SoftPro is a plus.
