Electric Scooter Fleet Operator

This role is a part-time independent contractor position and does not include benefits.
Available Shifts:
1) Early Morning: 2am-8am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
2) Morning: 8am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
3) Afternoon: 2pm-8pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
4) Night: 8pm-2am on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Compensation: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities:
Veo is looking for dedicated drivers to support the upkeep of our fleet in the field and enhance the operational efficiency of our services. In this capacity, drivers will be responsible for:
- Collecting electric scooters, swapping batteries, and redistributing them across the city.
- Conducting quality assessments and performing minor repairs to ensure vehicle safety and availability for users.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member who enjoys outdoor work, is hands-on, and can operate independently throughout their shift.
Employment Type: Part-Time
Responsibilities Include:
- Utilizing the Veo Tech app to complete assigned tasks and achieve battery change targets.
- Driving the company vehicle to locate scooters and perform battery swaps.
- Redistributing scooters from areas of low demand to those with higher demand.
- Executing basic repairs and quality checks.
- Responding to on-demand requests for scooter retrieval.
- Assisting with additional tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Have access to a smartphone and be proficient with apps.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs without assistance.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with local geography and street layouts.
- Flexible availability for early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Experience in warehouse, mechanical, manufacturing, or delivery roles.
