About the Role

Orchard Title is in search of an experienced Escrow Officer to oversee the closing process and deliver outstanding service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate with a focus on residential closings. If you thrive in high-pressure environments and can manage your own caseload effectively, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. This full-time position will report to the Director of Escrow and is available remotely for candidates located in specific states.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities by participating in sales meetings, real estate events, and management discussions, while collaborating with lending institutions to enhance capture rates.
  • Prepare essential closing documents, including disclosures and escrow agreements, in accordance with lender and client specifications.
  • Facilitate clear communication and collaboration with various departments such as Customer Experience, Brokerage, Contract Operations, and Funding to swiftly address and resolve any issues that may arise during the Title process.
  • Ensure clear title by addressing title defects, resolving existing liens, and confirming proper ownership.
  • Reconcile all financial transactions with corresponding invoices and tax obligations.
  • Provide accurate lender closing instructions and manage the receipt and distribution of funds, ensuring that all outstanding checks and escrowed amounts are handled appropriately.
  • Adhere to Orchard Title's policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Licensed Escrow Officer with an established book of business.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills that foster positive relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Google Suite and specialized software (e.g., Qualia), with a willingness to learn if necessary.
  • Familiarity with state-specific escrow regulations enforced by the Department of Insurance.
  • A collaborative mindset that prioritizes team success over individual achievement.
