Optum, in strategic partnership with Allina Health, is seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative Associate to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming Patients: Greet and welcome patients in person, providing a warm and professional first impression.
- Registration and Scheduling: Collect demographic and insurance information, check in patients, and direct them to their appointments or procedures.
- Financial Management: Verify eligibility and benefits information, collect co-pays or deductibles, and respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling add-on appointments, gather medical record information, and complete request for information forms.
Requirements:
- 6+ months of customer service experience in an office/hospital setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work within the 2:30pm-11:00pm shift Monday - Friday
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Ability to work on-site for training within standard, daytime hours for first 3 weeks upon hire
- Must be 18 years or older

- Revenue Cycle Experience
- Epic experience
