Program Coordinator - ACE Program

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Coordinator to join our High School and College Success division. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering high school students through innovative programming and support services.

Responsibilities
  • Program Development & Implementation: Design and deliver engaging programs for freshman and sophomore students, focusing on areas such as counseling, social-emotional well-being, life skills, healthy relationships, and college/career exploration.
  • Supervision & Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to part-time counselor advocates, ensuring their professional growth and effectiveness.
  • Student Counseling & Advocacy: Offer emotional support and counseling services to high school students, while also connecting them with appropriate resources and referrals for families.
  • Crisis Intervention & Support: Address a range of student needs, including attendance issues, diversity concerns, mental health challenges, behavioral management, delinquency, homelessness, child abuse, and neglect.
  • Program Management: Oversee the program budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for food, events, supplies, equipment, recreation, and staff salaries.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Compile and analyze program data to effectively communicate outcomes to funders and agency leadership.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive wraparound services for program participants.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with parents, teachers, and administrators to foster a supportive educational environment for students.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required. LMSW preferred; SIFI certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with adolescents in an urban setting, providing mental health counseling services that promote educational success and social-emotional well-being.
