The Shift Supervisor is a key member of the QSAC team, responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment that fosters growth and facilitates the development of mutual aid/self-help skills with the individuals we support.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and provide tailored supports to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.
  • Recognize and respond to crisis situations, utilizing psychiatric and medical backup services as needed.
  • Implement and adhere to established treatment plans, ensuring program goals are met.
  • Provide hands-on supervision of individuals with Autism, including implementation of behavior goals and behavior plans.
  • Maintain client personal allowance accounts, schedule staff, and coordinate shopping and meal distribution.
  • Ensure health, safety, and welfare of individuals, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • AMAP, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certifications required or aptitude to obtain upon hire.
  • 1-2 years of OPWDD experience, with experience working with Intellectual Developmental Disabled (I/DD) populations.
  • Maintain a clean and valid Driver's License, with ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights and 20 lb. items.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served, with punctuality and regular attendance expected.
