Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Care: Ensure the well-being and safety of children in our care, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate attendance records, monitor daily activities, and contribute to the overall organization of our program.
  • Program Planning and Implementation: Develop and lead engaging activities, workshops, and events that promote learning, creativity, and socialization.
  • Classroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring a comfortable and conducive space for children to learn and grow.
  • Chaperone and Escort: Safely transport children between activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and program directors to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive team effort.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in youth work.
Requirements
  • Age and Experience: Open to applicants of all ages, including high-school-aged students.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with children, peers, and families in a friendly, patient, and approachable manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16-$19, commensurate with experience. This is a part-time position, approximately 19 hours per week, with opportunities for extended hours and occasional weekend work.
