Job Summary:

Highland Care Center is seeking a skilled Recreation Supervisor to join our team. As a Recreation Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of scheduling and documentation, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement therapeutic programs to meet the needs of residents, including in-room activities and one-on-one visits.
  • Create a monthly calendar and participate in care plan meetings to ensure resident needs are met.
  • Coordinate events and activities, providing assistance as needed.
  • Assume leadership roles in the absence of the Director, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Work rotating weekends and holidays, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with staff to provide excellent resident care and services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of related experience in recreation or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the aging process and various resident activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
