Job Overview

As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary duties will include welcoming and registering guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. You will be the first point of contact for guests, and your friendly demeanor will set the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Manage the telephone switchboard and respond to guest requests promptly.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs with accuracy and courtesy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Stay informed about hotel rates, packages, and promotions.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework is a plus.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling financial transactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
