Position Overview:
As a Junior Materials and Processes Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the analysis and management of materials and components used in various projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather, structure, and analyze data to derive meaningful insights and formulate recommendations from relevant data sources.
2. Assess fasteners and standard components for suitable applications, considering environmental and program specifications.
3. Utilize product lifecycle management tools to guarantee the availability of necessary standard and vendor components for design purposes.
4. Offer guidance to both internal and external stakeholders, including design, stress analysis, manufacturing, and procurement teams, regarding component selection.
5. Collaborate with various technical disciplines within the Parts, Materials, and Processes Organization.
6. Implement updates to specifications and documentation to facilitate the effective deployment of materials and processes.
7. Conduct preliminary analyses to evaluate performance or identify causes of failures in tools, materials, components, or processes.
8. Support the execution of corrective and preventive measures.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in materials science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in software applications for internet navigation, email, and Microsoft Suite, along with other specialized computer tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.

Compensation:
Salary Range:
$60,350 - $81,650

Skills Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey task progress and challenges to team members and technical leadership.
- Possession of an active U.S. Security Clearance within the last 24 months.
- Highest level of U.S. Security Clearance held or previously held within the last 24 months.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in materials science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution.
- Experience with software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and other specialized tools.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical data.
