Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team at IQ Fiber. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional to take on a pivotal role in driving commercial services growth and expanding our presence in the small and medium business market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building relationships with key decision-makers, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our fiber-optic internet services.
With a strong track record of consistent sales production and excellent communication skills, you will thrive in this role and make a significant contribution to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass assigned sales targets
- Become a subject matter expert on IQ Fiber's product portfolio and effectively communicate the benefits to potential customers
- Actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calls, networking events, and industry conferences
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential deals, ensuring proper qualification and prioritization of leads
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience in broadband or telecommunications
- Proven track record of consistent sales production and excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of door-to-door prospecting activity and willingness to travel as required
- Working knowledge of computers and Customer Relationship Management tools
