As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the Moultrie Product market presence and driving sales growth by focusing on cultivating direct relationships with new customers. The primary responsibility will be to identify and target non-traditional customer segments while ensuring exceptional customer care and maximizing business profits through effective negotiation and creating new customer segments and product usage opportunities. The individual will also oversee order management to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to grow the traditional and non-traditional market space for Moultrie products. Identify key customer segments, their needs, and buying behaviors to increase sales.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape within non-traditional customer spaces. Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and tactics for revenue maximization.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Oversee order management processes to ensure efficient handling of customer orders, timely delivery, and resolution of any issues or discrepancies.
  • Negotiation and Contract Closure: Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and close agreements with new customers, maximizing business profits and ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Moultrie and Moultrie Mobile products, features, and benefits. Effectively communicate product value to customers and address any technical questions or concerns with hardware and app software.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Provide valuable input on product enhancements, promotional campaigns, and customer support initiatives.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and generate regular reports for the leadership team. Provide insights into sales trends, channel growth, and potential customer conversion to drive informed decision-making.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

* 5 years' of Sales experience

  • Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication (verbal and written) abilities. Customer feedback must be incorporated into new and improved products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as the ability to make decisions with little or no guidance from others.

* Experience in hunting, fishing, or outdoor sporting goods markets.

* Knowledge ofMicrosoft 365 environment.
