POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Director Revenue Cycle Operations and Innovations. This position is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities to leverage technology, create connectivity and implement cross functional solutions to foster innovation in the health systems service delivery across multiple methods. Coordinates efforts with operational leaders to create intuitive environments for internal staff to complete tasks with improved operational efficiency and delivering high quality, timely services with superb customer service.
  • Guiding the organization toward adopting new technology and other new initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to implement new programs, technologies and strategies to improve service delivery across all delivery methods
  • Collaborate with other corporate departments to identify customer needs to ensure innovation and operational excellence achieves/exceeds the customer's expectations
  • Lead operational business product team efforts for new solutions and coordinate efforts with in-house IT for defining system requirements and associated user testing efforts
  • Lead collaboration efforts with company departments to identify and measure key performance indicators and lead efforts in analyzing and optimizing company processes for continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement a framework to prioritize competing strategic initiatives for delivery and map to organizational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Evaluate, monitor and introduce innovative business processes and automation technology insertion in partnership with other departments and related upskilling staff for flawless operational delivery
  • Provide a clear understanding of customer analytics and clearly articulate the science/direction behind the data utilizing insights from analytics, usability audits, and customer research results
  • Monitor national and industry best practices and trends to tailor strategies to ensure the company performs as a best-in-class institution
  • Analyze and interpret data to make recommendations for improvements and support efforts for adoption, acceptance, and compliance with change management processes leveraging broad-based implementation and communication plans
  • Drive the organization's performance towards zero defects through enhanced processes and automation
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field; a master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or Information Management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10+ years of hospital revenue cycle management experience including 3-5 years of management experience, in particular Patient Access management, within a large academic medical center or multi-facility, integrated health care delivery system.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a Change Advocate with prior work experience including a significant role in a redesign project and/or management experience working in a highly automated, revenue cycle operations office environment.
  • Prior experience working in a matrix organization, including multi-disciplinary teams, varying levels of leadership across the organization, including C-Suite
  • Digital Patient Access experience preferred.
  • Experienced in using team building and quality management concepts to promote process improvement, positively influence the work environment and grow the knowledge of the team.

Salary Range: Minimum 73.47 per hour - Maximum 102.60 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
