Job description: Outreach Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Outreach Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to increase awareness and engagement with our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute outreach strategies to promote our organization's goals and initiatives.
2. Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations, nonprofits, educators, and local businesses.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content and materials for outreach activities.
4. Plan and organize outreach events, including presentations, workshops, conferences, and community forums.
5. Conduct research to identify target audiences and develop tailored messaging for outreach efforts.
6. Utilize social media platforms and digital marketing tools to expand reach and engagement.
7. Monitor and analyze outreach activities to measure effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
8. Prepare and deliver reports on outreach strategies, goals, and outcomes.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in outreach and engagement.
10. Represent our organization at professional conferences, networking events, and relevant community gatherings.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, community development, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in outreach or community engagement roles.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
5. Proficiency in social media and digital marketing platforms.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of outreach strategies and best practices.
7. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. Ability to travel locally for outreach events and meetings.
