Position Overview:
Centra Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time onsite Member Engagement Specialist. This role involves welcoming and engaging in meaningful dialogues with our Members while ensuring transactions are completed with precision. The ideal candidate will become proficient in educating and advising Members on financial solutions tailored to their needs and objectives. This position encompasses both incoming and outgoing calls within the Contact Center and Retail Operations, contributing to the overall strategy and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Career Development:
The position includes a structured Learning Path designed to enhance skills and facilitate progression from Member Engagement Specialist I to Member Engagement Specialist III. Team members have the option to remain in the Member Engagement Specialist III role or pursue further growth in Retail Operations or other career avenues.

Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $23.06 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver value by actively engaging Members during account transactions while providing education and guidance on Credit Union products and services, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Conduct Member account maintenance, handle inbound and outbound calls, and participate in outreach initiatives to strengthen Member relationships through the promotion of products and services.
  • Utilize knowledge of all products and services to assist Members, including troubleshooting issues related to digital banking platforms.
  • Promote financial literacy and demonstrate expertise in all Centra offerings.
  • Collaborate with Members to address their financial needs and concerns.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at creating value as directed by Retail Leadership.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding any significant issues or developments encountered during Member interactions.
  • Effectively utilize non-call time to provide Member services and support Retail operations.
  • Participate in the required Learning Path for ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Less than one year of relevant experience or preparatory training.
