Position Overview:
Centra Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time onsite Member Engagement Specialist. This role involves initiating and fostering meaningful interactions with our Members while ensuring accurate transaction processing. The Member Engagement Specialist will develop expertise in educating and advising Members on financial solutions tailored to their needs and objectives. Responsibilities include managing both incoming and outgoing calls, as well as participating in Retail Operations, all while upholding Centra's strategic goals and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Career Development:
This position offers a structured Learning Path designed to enhance skills and facilitate progression from Member Engagement Specialist I to Member Engagement Specialist III. Team members may choose to remain in the Member Engagement Specialist III role or pursue further growth in Retail Operations or other career avenues.

Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $23.06 per hour.

Additional Opportunities:
Spanish/English interpreters may qualify for an interpreting differential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage Members during account transactions, providing education and guidance on Credit Union products and services, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
  • Conduct Member account maintenance and outreach activities to build relationships through the promotion of products and services.
  • Utilize knowledge of all products and services to assist Members, including troubleshooting issues related to digital banking platforms.
  • Ensure financial literacy by applying comprehensive knowledge of Centra's offerings.
  • Assist Members in resolving their financial challenges.
  • Participate in initiatives set forth by Retail Leadership to create value.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding any significant issues or developments.
  • Utilize non-call time effectively to enhance Member services and support Retail operations.
  • Engage in required Learning Path activities for ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
  • Less than one year of relevant experience.
