The Event Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, planning, organizing, and executing events that meet the objectives and expectations of clients and stakeholders. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure events run smoothly and successfully. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and motivated individual, have a proven track record of success with event coordinating and strong networking skills. With no cap commissions and an included base salary, mileage and phone this opening is a great opportunity for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Management:- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and other logistical arrangements. - Develop event concepts, themes, and schedules in collaboration with clients and team members. - Create detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.

2. Vendor and Client Relations:- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues. - Negotiate contracts and manage vendor services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.

3. Marketing and Promotion:- Assist in the creation and execution of marketing strategies to promote events. - Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, social media campaigns, and press releases. - Track and analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities.

4. On-site Event Coordination:- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown. - Manage event staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed. - Address any issues or emergencies that arise during events to ensure a positive experience for attendees.

5. Post-Event Activities:- Conduct post-event evaluations to determine successes and areas for improvement. - Compile and present reports on event outcomes, including attendance, feedback, and financial performance. - Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and secure future business.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
