Position Summary: The Philanthropic Events Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Executive Director of Donor Engagement by managing key fundraising events that promote our mission. This position encompasses comprehensive event planning, donor relations, administrative duties, and marketing efforts to ensure successful fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold the organization’s mission and values in all event-related activities.
  • Enhance the organization’s public image by effectively communicating our philanthropic goals to various stakeholders.
  • Oversee the logistics and administration of major events, including signature galas and community engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive event marketing and communication strategies.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and volunteer coordination to guarantee seamless execution.
  • Lead event committees and provide exceptional customer service to all participants and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in event planning.
  • At least two years of management experience in a nonprofit setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
