Position Summary -

Reporting to Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers, you will be the primary point of contact of clients and oversee day-to-day responsibilities of the Assurance team. As the Assurance Manager, you will lead a team of Associates and Senior Associates who will look to you for mentorship, development & training opportunities and, ensure service level excellence.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Manage multiple client relationships and engagements

• Analyze and research accounting and auditing matters, and develop effective solutions

• Manage a team of Associates and Sr. Associates, and provide training, coaching, and mentoring

• Participate in professional and community events and activities

What You Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting

• 5+ years of public accounting experience

• Hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation

• Align with Smith Leonard's mission statement which requires a passion for excellence in client service, high levels of accountability, a collaborative spirit and a commitment to continuous education

  • A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed (overnight travel is minimal)
