Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Longview/Hickory, NC. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of equipment, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
  • Supplier Quality: Evaluate and qualify suppliers and subcontractors based on their quality management systems and performance.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential quality issues and risks early in the project lifecycle and work closely with project managers and engineers to mitigate risks and improve quality outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to personnel involved in quality control and assurance activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance within the oil and gas industry or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
