Role Summary

The Quality Assurance Product Expert serves as the crucial link between Marketing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing teams. This role encompasses, but is not limited to:

  • Thoroughly understanding and testing all abrasive products.
  • Coordinating the development and launch of new products.
  • Managing abrasive documentation.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing for forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Providing training on abrasive products to Customer Relations and Sales Channels.
  • Testing and validating returned products.
  • Addressing quality issues in collaboration with other facilities.
  • Conducting quality inspections for product returns.
  • Documenting samples and approvals for product setups.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  1. Manage and support the abrasive product line across various functions, including Marketing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing.
  2. Collaborate with commercial teams to generate innovative product ideas and prioritize development initiatives.
  3. Define market strategies and product positioning to enhance profitability.
  4. Monitor and evaluate financial and operational metrics to assess product line performance.
  5. Engage in the Product/Business team process to align business plans with global strategies.
  6. Provide manufacturing with capacity planning and raw material forecasts.
  7. Assist in preparing quotations and contracts with Marketing and Customer Relations.
  8. Contribute to the creation of value propositions and sales training.
  9. Work with Marketing and Technical teams to develop supporting materials.
  10. Coordinate the launch of new products across Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
  11. Develop and present training plans for the abrasive product line.
