Recurly seeks a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead our go-to-market strategy for our payments integrations and platform innovations. Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, this person will be a key part of our scaling Marketing organization.

Responsibilities

    • Be the voice of our buyer and user within Recurly. You are the expert on who they are, how they buy, and their key selection criteria.
    • Become the trusted GTM partner to the product team and establish a continuous feedback loop that encompasses customer input, market trends, and competitive factors to influence product development.
    • Work with the demand generation and content teams to help them develop resonate content and campaigns with clear goals
    • Be an expert on our competition, how they are positioned and where they're going.
    • Understand customer technical/business requirements and communicate how to leverage to provide solutions through messaging, assets, and sales enablement content
    • Lead the cross-functional launches of new products and releases of new product capabilities, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the go-to-market plan.
    • Develop positioning and messaging platforms, contribute to pricing strategy, and have a deep understanding of Recurly's target markets.
    • Work with colleagues across the company to increase customer engagement and learning initiatives that drive revenue and growth of the install base.
    • Partner with your cross-functional counterparts to create reporting on the commercial and product performance for your area of focus.
Requirements
    • 5+ years product marketing experience in a high-growth environment, with a strong preference for experience in start-ups.
    • Proven ability to drive differentiated positioning and messaging as well as experience in creating content and enablement; experience in SaaS, payments and/or financial technologies preferred.
    • Clear history of enabling enterprise sales teams to succeed and exceed their goals.
    • Demonstrated reliance on data with the ability to identify trends and articulate business results achieved by past marketing initiatives.
    • Exceptional planning, communications, and interpersonal skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to wear multiple hats, manage several projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast paced start-up environment
    • Intensely curious with a knack for asking high quality questions
