Responsibilities
  • Leads the centralized warranty function at the Business Support Center providing warranty compliance for all US dealerships.
  • Manages warranty compliance as it applies to Service Managers, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators and Fixed Operations Managers.
  • Knowledge of claims coding and submission; troubleshooting claims
  • Understanding of dealer processes and applying this towards analysis and recommendations
  • A thorough understanding of warranty compliance policies and procedures.
  • Follows and delivers proven training strategy as well as warranty training to employees to support their claims submission
  • Monitors dealership performance and follows up as needed
  • Maintains communication with management as well as dealership personnel
Qualifications
  • Greater Houston Area candidate preferred, not required
  • Substantial retail automotive service management experience, warranty administration, service advisor
  • Knowledge of all aspects of in-dealership operations
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, persuasion, and motivational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Exceptional organizational skills for proactively leading people, developing schedules and documenting work
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High personal level of ethics
  • Detail oriented, quantitative analysis, multi-tasking/prioritizing
  • Possess a sense of urgency in completing tasks

  • Understand the dealer audit process
