Job Summary

The Warranty Clerk plays a crucial role in the warranty process, ensuring timely and efficient processing of claims for both internally produced and externally purchased products. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track warranty claims, facilitating timely processing and resolution.
  • Interface with customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate vendor shipments and make arrangements for timely delivery.
  • Provide return documents to customers and assist with warranty-related demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in warranty administration.
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engine diagnostics and repairs.
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency in software applications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety procedures and operating instructions.
  • Basic math skills and ability to apply sound judgment when making decisions.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
Work Environment

The Warranty Clerk will work in an office environment, with occasional visits to the shop and warehouse. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
