The Employee Benefits Account Manager position serves as the primary service contact for the client. The main purposes of this position are to provide customer service duties for customer and provide support for renewal process.

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day account management of client accounts, including billing and claims resolution.
- Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and teammates.
- Work closely with Producers and Account Executive to achieve agreed upon goals for clients and book of business.
- Correspond and coordinate with carriers and vendors on behalf of clients Maintain client system of record (BAM).
- Operate agency operating system and basic programs such as Word and Excel as needed.
- Meet requirements for licensing as directed by the branch.
- Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines.
- Minimum of 3+ year of experience in the insurance industry.
- Life and Health license (if not already held, obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking and service.
- Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Insurance industry with a strong emphasis in employee benefits insurance preferred.
- College degree preferred but not required with appropriate work experience.
