Role Overview:
As a Senior Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently managing client invoicing, collections, and project financial planning.
  • Providing backup support for accounts payable, time tracking, and expense reporting.
  • Ensuring accurate contract documentation and administration, including budget and fee management.
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver timely financial performance data and resolve any fiscal discrepancies.
  • Coordinating the project accounting system and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Supporting multiple project managers and mentoring junior accountants as necessary.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred, with local candidates receiving priority.

Required Qualifications:
An Associate degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience is essential. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience; an advanced degree may compensate for lesser experience. Familiarity with Earned Value Management is beneficial.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, alongside the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Outlook, is necessary.
