Applicant should be a proven problem solver who can multi-task in a complex interrelated environment. The applicant should have the demonstrated aptitude and skills to utilize various instruments to troubleshoot hardware failures such as Digital Multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer and spectrum analyzer for troubleshooting electrical and/or computer equipment failures. The candidate will be responsible for working with other disciplines to resolve hardware failures, discrepancies and/or test anomalies (involving root-cause analysis, failure review boards, adequate corrective action and subsequent Q-note disposition.) resulting in the return to service of suspect electronic assemblies. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting drawing changes through the formal change process.Travel (approximately 10-20%) to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities will be required.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education• Experience with troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics• Working knowledge of lab equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers• Experience working production programDesired Skills:• Prior experience of PAC-3 program, Production processes, Failure Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions• Knowledge of printed wiring board and printed wiring assembly fabrication processes is desired as well as CAD tool experience for schematic capture.• Previous MRB experience• Experience in surface finishes for metal chassis or metallurgy would also be a desired skill.• Candidate must possess good oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing skills. The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work under minimum direction.
