Basic Required Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience or equivalent directly related experience. •Candidate must work in a production team environment to support production timelines by limiting offline assets. •Work with multiple disciplines to provide comprehensive causal analysis. •Provide proper dispositions for hardware for repair, scrap or use as is as appropriate. •Must be able to achieve MRB credentials. (Material Review Board) •Look at hardware and make a decision if it is good as is, requires changes , repair is needed, or replacement needed.The Candidate should have a demonstrated aptitude and skills to utilize various instruments to troubleshoot hardware failures such as Digital Multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer and spectrum analyzer for troubleshooting electrical and/or computer equipment failures. The candidate will be responsible for working with other disciplines to resolve hardware failures, discrepancies and/or test anomalies (involving root-cause analysis, failure review boards, adequate corrective action and subsequent Q-note disposition.) resulting in the return to service of suspect electronic assemblies. The candidate will be responsible for supporting drawing changes through the formal change process. Desired Qualifications: •Knowledge of printed wiring board and printed wiring assembly fabrication processes is desired as well as CAD tool experience for schematic capture. •Experience in surface finishes for metal chassis or metallurgy would also be a desired skill. •Candidate must possess good oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing skills. The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work under minimum direction. The candidate must have the ability to work well in a team environment. •The candidate should understand the concept of hardware obsolescence. •Travel to *** production facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities will be required. •Candidate must have or be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
