About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Lufkin, Texas. As an Electrical Engineer on our PAC-3 missile program, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware failures, working with other disciplines to resolve discrepancies and test anomalies, and supporting drawing changes through the formal change process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures using various instruments, including Digital Multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer.
  • Work with other disciplines to resolve hardware failures, discrepancies, and test anomalies, including root-cause analysis, failure review boards, and corrective action.
  • Support drawing changes through the formal change process.
  • Travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, suppliers' facilities, and customer facilities (approximately 10-20% of the time).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics.
  • Working knowledge of lab equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMM, signal Generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Experience working on production programs.
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience on the PAC-3 program, production processes, failure investigation, root cause, and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of printed wiring board and printed wiring assembly fabrication processes, as well as CAD tool experience for schematic capture.
  • Previous experience with MRB (Material Review Board) and surface finishes for metal chassis or metallurgy.
  • Excellent oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and possess a self-starter mentality.
