Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent directly related background.
The candidate will collaborate within a production team to meet production schedules by minimizing offline assets.
Engage with various disciplines to conduct thorough causal analysis.
Responsible for determining appropriate actions for hardware, whether for repair, disposal, or continued use.
Achieving MRB credentials (Material Review Board) is essential.

The candidate will evaluate hardware to decide if it is acceptable as is, requires modifications, needs repairs, or should be replaced.


The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a range of instruments for diagnosing hardware failures, including Digital Multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers for troubleshooting electrical and/or computer equipment issues.

The candidate will work collaboratively with other disciplines to address hardware failures, discrepancies, and test anomalies, which includes conducting root-cause analysis, participating in failure review boards, implementing corrective actions, and managing subsequent Q-note dispositions, all aimed at restoring suspect electronic assemblies to service.

The candidate will also support modifications to drawings through the formal change process.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with printed wiring board and printed wiring assembly fabrication processes is preferred, along with experience using CAD tools for schematic capture.

Knowledge of surface finishes for metal chassis or metallurgy is also a valued skill.
Strong oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing abilities are essential. The candidate should be a proactive self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision, and must thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Understanding hardware obsolescence is crucial.
Occasional travel to production facilities, supplier locations, and customer sites may be necessary.
The candidate must possess or be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
