Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute to the PAC-3 missile program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize various diagnostic instruments, including Digital Multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers, to troubleshoot hardware and computer equipment failures.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address hardware issues, discrepancies, and test anomalies, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
3. Support drawing modifications through the formal change management process.
4. Travel to production, supplier, and customer facilities as needed (approximately 10-20%).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting both Analog and Digital Electronics.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMMs, and signal generators.
- Experience in production programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous involvement with the PAC-3 program and production processes.
- Knowledge of failure investigation techniques, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Experience with printed wiring board fabrication and CAD tools for schematic capture.
- Understanding of surface finishes for metal chassis or metallurgy.
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens.
