Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
The candidate will collaborate within a production team to ensure adherence to production schedules by minimizing offline resources.
Engage with various disciplines to conduct thorough causal analysis.
Responsible for determining appropriate actions for hardware, whether it be repair, disposal, or acceptance as is.
Must obtain MRB credentials (Material Review Board).

The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in utilizing various diagnostic tools to identify hardware failures, including Digital Multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers for troubleshooting electrical and/or computer equipment issues.

The individual will work alongside other disciplines to address hardware failures, discrepancies, and test anomalies, involving root-cause analysis, failure review boards, adequate corrective actions, and subsequent Q-note dispositions, ultimately leading to the restoration of suspect electronic assemblies.

The candidate will also support drawing modifications through the formal change process.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with printed wiring board and assembly fabrication processes is preferred, along with experience in CAD tools for schematic capture.

Knowledge of surface finishes for metal chassis or metallurgy is also a valued skill.
The candidate must possess strong oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing abilities. A self-starter attitude with the capability to work with minimal supervision is essential. The candidate should thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Understanding the concept of hardware obsolescence is important.
Occasional travel to production facilities, supplier locations, and customer sites may be necessary.
The candidate must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
