The Manager, Accounting for Radiometer is responsible for leading our Financial Shared Service for Radiometer Americas. The manager will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting, tax, and compliance. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. Complete the monthly close process and complete required corporate reporting. Actively seek to improve systems and processes that support financial closing. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Coordinate and complete annual audits (internal audit, sales and use tax audit, property tax audit, and others) and lead SOX compliance and monitoring. Reporting of all taxes for the region. Manage the accounting system at the company, drive system changes when needed and train associates on proper use of the system. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Minimum of five years overall accounting work experience with at least three years supervisory experience in accounting/financial reporting areas. Experience leading a finance team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. Advanced understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions. Experience with Revenue Recognition Policies, including Multi-Element arrangements. Strong working knowledge of FASB Lease Determination rules. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: MBA or Master's degree in finance or related field is preferred. Customs/Duties experience. Transfer pricing experience.
