StaffingForce is seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the establishment of standard costs for new parts and reviewing and analyzing standard costs for existing parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cost support to various cross-functional teams as needed
  • Supply product cost information for month-end financial closing
  • Analyze the purchase price variance general ledger account
  • Audit cycle count activities, including item selection, recount decisions, discrepancy research, and reporting on root causes and progress towards improving quantity and physical accuracy
  • Prepare, review, and distribute daily absorption reports, comparing them with forecasts
  • Manage inventory and related work order systems, including reconciliations from physical to perpetual to general ledger, journal entries, audit explanations, and standard costs
  • Oversee periodic requirements of manufacturing systems to ensure timely and accurate standards and gross margins, providing meaningful analysis of results
  • Manage the preparation and execution of the annual standard cost roll
