Job Summary

Colas Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Brea office. As a future financial leader, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing cash position, assisting in cash forecasting, and preparing financial information for integrity. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor accounting staff, assist with annual budgeting, and participate in external and internal audits as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and analyze cash position, assist in cash forecasting, and prepare financial information for integrity
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
  • Participate in external and internal audits as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other applicable degree
  • At least 7 years of accounting work experience, including construction industry accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, including revenue recognition and lease accounting standards
  • Previous experience managing a small team
  • CPA and/or CMA certification ideal
