Madison Capital Group Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator. This role involves comprehensive support for both local users and over 100 remote locations across the United States, encompassing parent company and all subsidiaries. Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Implement and manage firewall solutions, preferably SonicWALL, to secure network communication.
  • Systems Administration: Manage and administer Windows servers (2019 and higher) and VMware ESXi/vCenter v8 environments. Standardize desktop platforms, help migrate all workstations to Windows 11 Pro.
  • Security and Compliance: Lead efforts to maintain secure IT environment. Develop and enforce security policies, conduct penetration testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate and integrate security controls and solutions with Director of IT.
  • Remote Support and Collaboration: Provide efficient remote technical support using Splashtop Business/SOS tools. Deploy, support, and improve collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams solutions. Assist with Help Desk ticket queue as needed.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams. Implement and maintain security protocols within Microsoft 365.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Develop and test discovery recovery plans, utilizing tools such as Druva Cloud Backup and OneDrive. Implement backup solutions for servers and users, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Inventory Management: Manage IT equipment and assets, maintaining accurate records to support inventory control. Oversee migration of locally stored files to Microsoft SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive.
  • Report to SouthPark Headquarters via hybrid structure.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in IT roles, including significant experience in network engineering, systems administration, and IT management.
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline. Candidates with equivalent certifications and work experience WILL be considered.
  • Expertise in Windows servers, VMware, SonicWALL firewalls, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • 2+ years in security, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experience with remote support tools, particularly Splashtop.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT environments with a focus on standardization and optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new systems and processes specific to industry.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, Atera preferred.
  • Strong background in end user support and training.
  • Experience with VOIP systems administration.
  • Ability to optimize and document IT processes.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
