We are seeking an experienced Finance Business partner who brings excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills to join the Coles Finance team, focused on our Milk Sourcing remit. This role will see you collaborating with the Milk Department, Milk Co. Team, and key stakeholders to provide fact-based insight and analysis on performance, build robust budgets and forecasts, and drive ongoing improvement to existing and new processes. You will also: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks to ensure accurate delivery of financial results and maintain reporting and compliance processes. Support the governance surrounding all Milk sourcing business processes, including the CSDDG, and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained. Support the delivery of strategic planning requests and business cases for any new initiatives across Milk Sourcing. Influence key business partners and the milk department to drive optimal business outcomes with fact-based insights and innovative analysis. Identify, define, and support system and other process improvements to enhance the delivery of team and Coles wide objectives. Support the wider DFC Finance team to deliver finance and business objectives where required. About you and your skills

We are looking for a strong financial business partnering background, with proven experience analysing financial information and identifying business opportunities/challenges with recommendations for alternate actions. You’ll also be comfortable challenging and influencing key stakeholders and working cross-functionally to deliver what’s required. You will also ideally have: CA/CPA or similar business qualification, or near with commercial awareness and business focus. Financial experience in a retail/FMCG/dairy environment desirable, but not essential. TM1, SAP BIW, and PowerBI experience desirable. Strong Excel, financial modelling, and PowerPoint skills.
