Overview

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is a leading provider of in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and guide business units in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), cost control, and month-end close.
  • Prepare annual business plans, maintain annual forecasts, and fixed expense targets for the business unit.
  • Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate and compliant financial statements.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial performance results to leadership.
  • Work closely with business unit leadership and financial leadership to develop product pricing strategies, short-term and mid-term financial planning, and profit and loss management.
  • Serve as an advisor to the business unit and sales leadership on financial activities.
  • Support the business unit and corporate on new projects and business case activities.
  • Provide financial analysis on investment activities and make recommendations.
  • Identify and manage financial risk and provide recommendations to mitigate risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Financial certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Proficient knowledge in EPM and MS Office.
  • Strong financial modeling experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.
  • Ability to deal with complex problems and possess strong independent problem-solving skills.
